Cruvita.com Launches Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Area School Evaluations and Real Estate Listings

The company has evaluated and graded Dallas-Fort Worth area public schools with its unique and intuitive grading algorithm. Local residential real estate listings are also being hosted.

Cruvita.com, a leader in the online school ranking and real estate listing space, has officially launched its services in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metropolitan area.

The Cruvita school rankings are determined by taking into account a variety of important factors, including information related to schools, home values, and income levels in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metro area. Residents can now use this valuable information to make informed decisions regarding their children's education and home-buying choices.

Cruvita's ranking system draws a much clearer picture of schools than the 1-10 ranking system other sites use. Also, the Medals of Excellence help highlight a school's points of differentiation while the color coding is helpful for a quick overview. One of the more critical problems with other school ranking websites is that some of them allow for anonymous comments from "community forums" to be a part of their ranking algorithm. It's a little scary to think a '1 star' rating from 2011 posted by a 9th grader who thought his English teacher gave too much homework is affecting a school's rating.

What users get are two forms of school grading: a numerical and letter grade. The letter grade is a fairly recent addition to Cruvita.com, which is being praised for its easy and intuitive evaluation process for users.

"Cruvita's ranking system draws a much clearer picture of schools than the 1-10 ranking system other websites use," says Cindy Allen of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Southlake, TX. "Also, the Medals of Excellence help highlight a school's points of differentiation while the color coding is helpful for a quick overview."

One of the more critical problems with other school ranking websites, according to Allen, is that some of them allow for anonymous comments from "community forums" to be a part of their ranking algorithm.

"It's a little scary to think a '1 star' rating from 2011 posted by a 9th grader who thought his English teacher gave too much homework is affecting a school's rating," Allen says.

Cruvita.com also hosts real estate listings, which are displayed along with each school, offering an easy comparison for home shoppers. In addition, school boundary maps are displayed with homes that are for sale within those boundaries – an added value for home seekers.
